No if you think it’s
the National Games do think again its the VP Sports Carnival. The coming
together of the Valia’s & Panchamia families (Daughter of Mr. Sudhir Valia and Son of Mr. Sandip Panchamia)!
In today’s modern
era where technology is growing rapidly, face to face ‘bonding’ often takes a
back seat. Active online presence is adversely impacting relationships. The “VPSC” ( Valia Panchamia) Sports Carnival
is the first one of its kind where 600
guests of both the families played, participated, competed with each
other rather than against each other. The entire motto of this event was to move
from “Hum Kisi se Kum Nahin to Hum Saath Saath Hain”
This Build Up to
this Event was so intense that actual professional training sessions were
conducted by Sports Reconnect & We Entertain in multiple zonal venues
across Mumbai.

memories , aspirations and rekindling the love of the outdoors!

NIGHT CRICKET
The day ended
with the most crazy night cricket match with a grand finale played under
glorious flood flights as one felt like singing
‘starry starry nights“. Wild
cheering for the favorite teams and players
from the grassy stands., with wilder predictions at the matka phatka stall .For the little
ones a fun filled arena set for the
carnival around the ground and with a spectacular fireworks lighting up the sky
to salute the players.
Final scores:
Soaring Eagles 127 in 8 overs. Heroic Horses 105 in 8 overs. Soaring Eagles
wins by 22 runs.
Day 2:
After a grueling
first day of fun filled outdoor sports, the arena moved indoors with an amazing
round of innovative games.
Games include:
WATER POLO: 4 sided
A modified
water polo game where all four teams enter the pool and defend their goals
against the other three teams. The team with the least goals scored against
wins.
WAVE POOL RELAY:
All four teams
race against each other in the pool facing pressing forward against the ever
rising waves. Each team member completes one lap and gets bonus points for
plucking out some notes that are strung across the return line.
MUSICAL STATIONS :
Played by all
four teams in the pool at the same time . A starting point is the clue for each team to start the game. Each corner of the pool has a
placard which lists 8 pairs of stations on it. The stations are all connected
to each other so that a route is formed and the original starting point is
reached back. Team members have to rush from one corner of the pool to the
other to connect the stations.
Another team
member is jotting down the correct pairs as his team members shout it across to
him. Only problem, you have all four teams shouting across the connecting pairs
of stations thus compounding the confusion. First team to finish the correct
pairs of stations to complete a valid route wins.
The lagoon are
at Aamby Valley has never seen so much activity.
The third day saw
the finals results announced and the team champion declared for the VPSC.
Roaring Lions (Red) team won the league by scoring highest points.
